Do SNL Writers Read Just Enrichment?

Those who remember my post about the ample representation of nonwhite, nonmale judges in movies and on television might like Steve Buscemi’s monologue from last night’s Saturday Night Live.  In the monologue, typecast character actors – who play generic recurring roles like “The Clumsy Best Friend in Romantic Comedies,” “The Guy in War Movies That You Just Know Is Gonna Die,” and “The Granny Character Who Says Dirty and/or Hip-Hop Things” – ask Buscemi how he shed the character-actor stigma and became a leading man.
